The installation steps of chemical pump are as follows.
1. Do a good job of concrete foundation according to the foundation size, and at the same time bury the ground bolts of the chemical pump.
2. Check the chemical pump and motor before installation, each part should be intact, and there should be no debris inside the chemical pump.
3. Put the chemical pump on the foundation as a whole, put the damping block between the base plate and the foundation, and find the level of the chemical pump by adjusting the damping block. After aligning, tighten the foot bolt.
4. The inlet and outlet piping of the chemical pump should have brackets, and the chemical pump should not be used to support the force. The inlet and outlet pipe caliber should be the same as the import and export caliber of the chemical pump.
5. The self-priming chemical pump should be installed with the inlet pipe first, and then the outlet pipe after filling with liquid and correcting the steering. The inlet pipe of the pump should be matched with the pump, and the total length should not exceed 5 meters, otherwise it will affect the self-priming function of the self-priming chemical pump, and the self-priming height can be calculated according to this formula: self-priming 3m/media density = actual self-priming height when clear water.
6. When the installation of chemical pump is finished, then turn the coupling by hand to check whether there is any scraping phenomenon, and the rotation is easy and even when the installation is finished.
7. The magnetic chemical pump cannot pump the liquid containing particles and easy to crystallize, and it is not allowed to run continuously with the discharge port closed, and the flow rate should be kept low.
8. In order to prevent debris from entering the chemical pump, a filter should be installed at the inlet, and the filtering area should be greater than 3-4 times the cross-sectional area of the pipeline.
9. High head chemical pumps in the export pipeline should also be installed on the check valve to prevent the sudden stop of water hammer damage.
10. To ensure that the installation height of the chemical pump is in line with the cavitation margin of the pump, and also take into account the pipeline loss and medium temperature.
